About Lauren

If we're lucky, we're all pushing up against our growth edges daily. Whether our success relies upon physical, mental or spiritual focus, I believe a solid mind-body connection is the key to showing up for ourselves and showing up for each other in beneficial ways.

Yoga has supported me through a wide range of life events including physical recovery from professional wrestling, cultivating the self-discipline to eliminate alcohol and cigarettes from my life, healing from PTSD & strengthening connections to my creativity as a writer & musician. I have a passion for the practice of yoga as a physical and spiritual practice, as well as a companion to personal growth and healing.

I received my 200-hr yoga teacher training in 2006 in-residence at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA. Since then, I've led classes, workshops and retreats throughout Colorado, California and Washington state. Living in those places has allowed me to take classes with and learn from some of my favorite and well respected teachers like Richard Freeman, Bo Forbes & Seane Corn . In addition to yogic inquiry, I have studied with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and am a certified Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. My yoga writing can be found on Elephant Journal, Medium.com and I have contributed to the print edition of Yoga Living Journal. I incorporate my knowledge and experience to help you take the next step in doing what is right for YOU to get to the next level of your practice.
